Using the iPad supplied by the tech team (see these instructions) , go to the LiveStream App.
Starting the Stream
On the bottom left part of the screen, click on the camera icon.
On the top left of the screen, make sure that your event is selected.
Select 'Rear Camera' as your source.
Click on the 'Go Live' button on the bottom right of the screen. You are now "live."
You can choose to "Dismiss" (bottom left) the message that pops up, or wait 30 seconds and it will close on its own.
Stopping the Stream
To stop the stream, click on the red recording icon on the bottom right of the screen.
Click "Yes" when prompted to Stop Live Video.
You are now prompted to type a message to your followers (you can if you'd like...)
You can also click on the keyboard icon on the bottom right to remove the keyboard from the view. You will now see the rest of the screen.
Posting the Content
Confirm that there is a check next to 'Publish on Save.' (Alternatively, you can save as draft, and check that option)
Click on the 'Post' link on the top right of the screen. Your video is now archived on the site. (Or saved as draft, based on your choice.)
