If you'd like to stream an event, please send an e-mail to Help Desk in advance so that everything can be organized and made ready. Please make sure to include the following info in your request:
-Name of Event
-Time of Event
Once the tech team has set up this info in our LiveStream account, you will be sent a link to the event page. The rest of the process is done the day of the event.
Equipment used for the stream
Depending on a variety of factors, it may be sufficient to stream the event using an iPad. If better quality is required, the tech team will likely use a DV cam and stream using the LiveStream Broadcaster, a device that connects to the camera directly and streams the camera output.
You will need a tripod on which to mount the camera or iPad for the duration of the stream.
You can control the streaming event, starting it, stopping it, posting when completed, using the LiveStream Software on the iPad or if using the LiveStream Broadcaster
